Century Direct Group has learned about two earthquake occurred in Spain on Wednesday killing at least four people and injuring many. Earthquakes with magnitude of 4.4 and 5.2 happened in a town of Lorca. The town’s mayor Francisco Jodar told the media that the death probably occurred as a result of falling debris.

The Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero called on military to help with the emergency.

Century Direct Group has just received reports that an earthquake struck the Greek island of Crete. With 6.2 magnitude and about 90 miles east of city of Heraklion on Crete ,the quake was heard as far as Egypt and Turkey. The earthquake’s seismologists recorded the depth of 77 km, which consider to be a shallow quake. Meanwhile no casualties or injures were reported.
