Century Direct Group has learned that United States imposed sanctions on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for human rights abuse during government crackdown on the protesters. According to Century Direct Group findings around 700 people were killed for the last two months.
The government has banned all the international media from Syria, making it difficult to report the real activities. Hilary Clinton, the U.S. Secretary of State has said on Wednesday that US would take additional steps if the violence won’t stop.

According to the latest information received by Century Direct Group President Ali Abdullah Saleh rejected Gulf mediation plan for his resignation. On Friday many have gathered at the capital Sanaa in anti-government protests against Saleh regime.
And in the south city of Taiz many some protesters reported dead from last week demonstrations. The police openly use bullets and tear gas on the protesters to clash the demonstrations.

According to Century Direct Group sources, three people were killed on Saturday in Tunisia. The killings were triggered as a result of protests against a forming of a new transitional government, after President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali leaving. Elections are scheduled to take place in July. Meanwhile violence and unrest continues in Libya, where protesters are trying to take over the capital. In Bahrain, the main opposition leader Hassan Mushaimaa is scheduled to return to the country to head the opposition party Haq Movement, while demonstrators continue to ask for reforms and removal of the royal family.
