The latest information received by Century Direct Group confirmed that Gaddafi’s soldiers are closing in on rebels in the city of Benghazi.  After troops took over Ajdabiya and Misrata from rebel’s control, only Benghazi left under the influence of rebels. G8 failed to imposed the “no-fly zone” and may have lost the prospect.

The death toll in Libya must have reached 10,000 people by now, but it is very difficult to tell exactly for the lack of information in many places that are inaccessible to the reporters and media. Benghazi will be the last test for the rebel forces. The city population of 800,000 people with a strong will to resist the dictatorship in Libya will definitely put a strong fight.

According to Century Direct Group sources, three people were killed on Saturday in Tunisia. The killings were triggered as a result of protests against a forming of a new transitional government, after President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali leaving. Elections are scheduled to take place in July. Meanwhile violence and unrest continues in Libya, where protesters are trying to take over the capital. In Bahrain, the main opposition leader Hassan Mushaimaa is scheduled to return to the country to head the opposition party Haq Movement, while demonstrators continue to ask for reforms and removal of the royal family.
